Lucie is the owner of Charlotte Metro Pet Group.  ​After starting successful pet sitting businesses in Dublin and Irvine, California with many happy clients, Lucie decided the growing South Charlotte area could benefit from professional, reliable pet sitting services.​  Her philosophy is to treat all clients' pets as if they were her own, and Charlotte Metro Pet Group's pet sitters follow the same philosophy. “We consistently want to make pet sitting stress free for the clients when they work or travel by giving the best of care while their pets have fun!”

Samantha is the co-owner of Charlotte Metro Pet Group. She moved here from Arizona in 2018 to be closer to family, and Charlotte quickly captured her heart. She has been obsessed with animals of all shapes and sizes her entire life, and it is her dream having a career spoiling your pets as though they are her own.  

In her free time Samantha loves running the trails and spending as much time outside as possible.

Originally from New Jersey, Cathy now calls North Carolina home where she lives with her husband of 28 years. Together, they share their home with two very spoiled 2-year-old Shih Tzus, Shayla and Remi aka “Monsters”.

Cathy spent eight years successfully owning and operating her own business, where she developed a strong foundation in communication and customer service.

Outside of pet sitting, Cathy loves spending time with family and friends, doting on her pups, the Dallas Cowboys, and soaking up beach time whenever possible.

Gail was born and raised in the Carolinas. The dog in the photo is 13 year-old Chevy with whom she lives alone (very happily)!   Pet Sitter Gail also has a granddog named Jax who is part Chihuahua, part Jack Russell, and she keeps him occasionally on weekends. Gail loves animals and has always had a pet in her home. Gail is simply a wonderful pet sitter and we are so fortunate to have her on our team!​

Fran is the “Mom” to two kitty cats, Mr. Sasha and The Princess. She is very passionate about animal rights and animal’s well-being. Fran has experience with many dogs and cats and is a proponent of the three C’s. Care, compassion and comfort. Fran brings peace of mind to her clients on each and every visit.  When Fran is not pet sitting, she enjoys gardening, trying new recipes, and attending her Grandson’s year-round sporting events. Fran is an outstanding Pet Sitter and our client's love her!​

Our pet sitter Rosalie has 2 chihuahuas, Coco Chanel and Tory Burch. Yes, Rosalie loves fashion! She is extremely happy spending her time taking care of her pups along with all her other clients. 

Rosalie was a hairdresser for 35+ years and has been an Indian land resident for over 10 years.  She has two daughters and three grandsons whom she adores.  Rosalie is a wonderful pet sitter and team member!

Jamie has always had a love for animals and is the proud Mom of 2 dogs and 3 cats. All of her pets are rescues that needed a loving family to care for them. That is just what they have found with Jamie. If she could, she would have 100 more!

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, listening to music and exploring new places. If you need a terrific pet sitter in Indian Land, Jamie is your woman!

Maureen has always had a special place in her heart for animals and she can’t imagine life without them. From an early age, Maureen found joy in caring for pets, whether they were her own or animals in need driven by a genuine love and respect for all creatures.

She knows how important it is to have peace of mind when you’re away from your pets.  She looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Chris is the Mom to 2 adult children and has been married over 26 years to her hubby Michael. Chris resides in Waxhaw and serves our clients in the Waxhaw, Union County area.

Chris has always been an avid cross fitter and runner. She has had many family dogs over the years, all sizes, shapes and breeds. She thoroughly enjoys taking care of pets and is also a wonderful people person. She enjoys engaging with clients in order to serve their pets with excellence. Our clients love pet sitter Chris!​​

Teresa has always been a lover of animals, as she was fortunate to grow up on her Tennessee family farm. Along with the farm animals, pigs, cows and chickens, she also had an array of family pets. This included Collies, German Shepherds, a Persian cat and even a pet squirrel named Pee Wee.  

Teresa’s four grown children have their own pets, and she borrows one of her grand puppies on occasion when allowed.  She looks forward to the opportunity of caring for your pet babies.​

Joy has lived in the Charlotte for almost twenty years now .  She is an avid animal lover who has had both cats and dogs over the years. Joy works with local rescues and volunteers as a foster mom for shelter pups. She currently has 2 doodles and a foster dog who has stolen her heart.
 

When not pet sitting, Joy enjoys walking, reading, swimming and taking care of her family!  We are fortunate to have Joy on our team!

Pet Sitter Cindy was born and raised in nearby Rock Hill, SC.  She lived in the Blakeney area of Ballantyne for 15 years, and now calls Indian Land home.  She enjoys reading, collecting beach treasures, and has a love/hate relationship with her Peloton bike.

Her fur baby Swirly is the light of her life, along with her husband and two bonus sons. She has lifelong experience with dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and personalities, and she loves winning over especially aloof kitties! Cindy is a wonderful member of our team!

John was born and raised in Chicago, and has lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Georgia, and has happily landed in Charlotte .  He has 2 daughters also living in NC.  

John has had dogs his entire life, from a toy poodle to a 120-pound Doberman Pinscher to a pure-bred Aussie to a rescue lab (who was a disc dog champion!).  He can't envision a life without dogs.

In his spare time, John is a DIYer and enjoys classic and antique vehicles, music, and all types of food and drink (an equal opportunity eater!).

After retiring from the medical device field, Larry and Debbie moved to the Carolinas in 2020 to be closer to family including their two grand dogs! Over the years they’ve opened up their home to dogs, cats, foster kittens, lizards, hamsters and even a little pet rat.

Debbie and Larry enjoy traveling and exploring the outdoors with their English Labrador Barbie. Barbie was adopted as part of the Project2Heal service dog breeding program. Life-long animal lovers, Larry and Debbie are eager to make sure your pets are safe and loved while you are away!

Our pet sitter Dawn has lived in the town of Waxhaw for the last 24 years. Dawn recently retired from being an elementary school teacher before joining our team.  Besides her deep love of the teaching profession, Dawn loves animals of all kinds.  She lives with her 2 very spoiled dogs and 2 cats which were rescues.

Dawn enjoys going on long walks with her puppies, gardening, playing Mahjong, and reading novels. She looks forward to providing affection and care to all your animal babies. Another great member of our pet sitting team!

Dora is a native of Puerto Rico who spent 20 years working in the children's department of her local library. She and her son recently moved back to NC from the Midwest to be closer to her 2 daughters and grandbabies. 

Her love of animals began at 7, soon after her family moved to the States and adopted a German Shepard named Ivan. She's now enjoying retirement by painting, cuddling up with her cat, BK, enjoying a good book, or out on a walk with her Chinese Crested, Sophie.​​

Scotti is a lifelong resident of NC with a wide variety of animal - and human experience.  She grew up caring for pets, farm animals, and wildlife - including birds, squirrels, and a raccoon. No animal is too strange for this pet-sitter!

Scotti and her husband have lived in Weddington since the 1990s. They enjoy watching college football and going to concerts with their two adult-aged kids. When she's not pet-sitting or hanging out with her family, you might find Scotti performing around Charlotte, as she is also an event host, comedian, and actress!​

Stephanie was born in Western New York and raised on a dairy farm surrounded by cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and bunnies.. to name a few! She went to college at the University of Arkansas earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. 

Stephanie says she cannot remember a time when she has not had a sweet dog or cat and plans to never be pet-less. She enjoys caring for her friends' pets on occasion and looks forward to getting to know, care for and love your pet(s), too!

Terry and her husband Jack moved to Waxhaw to live near two of their six grandchildren and two grand pups. A little over a year ago they adopted their latest dog  Mabel. 
 

Terry is a lifelong animal lover.  She and Jack have treasured many canines over their 49 years of marriage.  An avid reader, she stays active with yoga and barre. She is excited to love your pets and treat them as her own.

Our pet sitter Laura has lived in South Charlotte for 8 years, after moving here from Atlanta. She also spent part of her childhood here in Charlotte and attended Davidson College.

Laura has three, "Kids”. This includes one human Jamie, a dog Charlie and cat Mr. Bean.  She is passionate about providing loving care and exercise to her pets and brings that same commitment to her client's animals.  In her free time, you're likely to find Laura running, playing tennis, reading or walking Charlie​​​.

Pet Sitter Tate is a lifelong animal lover who has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats. She also spent countless days on her grandparents’ land, hanging out with their dogs, cats, chickens, and horses.

Tate has been pet sitting for over 17 years and she volunteers at a shelter here in Charlotte. She also takes in foster dogs when she has the room. Tate and her husband share their home with their beloved German Shepherd mix, Rio.

Kristen is a proud pet parent to two cats as well as her lovable (and highly dramatic) pitbull, Finn. A longtime animal lover, Kristen has turned her passion for pets into a rewarding part of her everyday life through walking and pet sitting.

Kristen has a background in hospitality, so clear communication, reliability, and attention to detail are second nature to her. She is committed to making sure your pets feel safe and cared for, and she treats each animal like her own. When she’s not pet sitting, you might find Kristen hiking with Finn, indulging in her favorite local eats, or working on creative projects.

Gretchen Williams is a dedicated pet lover and lifelong animal advocate. She’s the proud mom of Sparky, her rescued doodle mix, and three beautiful cats—Thor, Ollie, and Poppy. She’s also a very proud “grand-dog” mom to three energetic pups: two Australian Shepherds and a lovable Golden Retriever. With decades of experience fostering animals and supporting local rescues, she has fostered many pets herself and continues to be deeply involved in her community’s animal welfare efforts. Her compassion, reliability, and genuine love for animals make her someone pet parents can count on for exceptional care.

Abby offers loving care to keep pets happy and comfortable. A pet owner herself, she has three dogs: Bella, a senior, Zeke, a 7-year-old lab, and Kai, a young German Shepherd, giving her experience with pets of all ages and energy levels. She previously worked in the medical field but discovered her true passion is caring for animals. Abby graduated Magna Cum Laude from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion, where she played field hockey and met her husband. Having lived in the Charlotte area for over 10 years, she enjoys serving the local community. When she is not pet-sitting, she loves reading, watching TV, hiking, or exploring the greenway with her dogs.
